learn2 Digital Media Academy inspires both newcomers and animation industry professionals to acquire knowledge of digital creation and production concepts that are relevant and sought after by film, television, architecture and games industries.

learn2 is now a MAPPP Seta accredited institution and is a Premier Autodesk Authorised Training Centre offering training on 3ds Max, Maya and Combustion. All of our instructors have had extensive commercial production experience and most importantly are authorised by Autodesk to train on these packages. All course graduates will receive an internationally recognised Certificate of Completion from Autodesk and ToonBoom.

Our Academy provides an innovative teaching environment combined with the state of the art resources that ensure our students are highly sought after within the creative digital media industries. learn2 Digital Media Academy's instructors are also available for workshops, seminars or other such events where an expert in the areas of multimedia, 2D & 3D animation and design may be required. We have participated in a number of educational presentations to students from primary school right up to senior secondary and university. Our workshops and seminars in areas such as careers in 3D and beyond are always highly regarded and sought after.

Facilities

 learn2 Digital Media Academy has the following facilities available to all registered students:
- 30 dedicated workstations with the latest versions of Autodesk 3ds Max, Autodesk Maya
  Autodesk Combustion ,Adobe Production and ToonBoom 2D animation software.
- flat panel screens to reduce eye strain and fatigue while learning
- 3 air-conditioned lecture rooms
- internet café with dedicated internet stations for students to use for reference
- library with various periodicals, books, CD-ROMs and the DVD's
- Autodesk accredited training support material.

As all of our instructors have real industry experience, they bring that knowledge with them into the classroom. Students are not only taught how to use the software, but also how to apply that knowledge creatively so that they can troubleshoot issues for themselves. We also treat class assignments as real productions with the relevant deadlines. Students are also given tips on dealing with clients and managing jobs within both large and small teams. This helps to prepare our learners more fully for the rigours of production work.

learn2 Digital Media Academy, in association with Touchvision Digital Media Solutions, maintains a strong involvement with key industry players ensuring a synergy between the Academy and industry, as well as guaranteeing mutually beneficial outcomes for students, the college and the creative digital media marketplace. Touchvision has been the authorised reseller for Autodesk Media & Entertainment  and  ToonBoom products in South Africa for the past few years. This involvement provides a unique platform from which to educate students and ensure the relevance of the teaching outcomes, course content and technical infrastructure.
